YD, that is good advice, and I'm lucky to have a gas oven for situations like these (or for blackouts, when I can cook a fine meal with no worries). I turned on the oven, cracked the door, turned on 1 burner, let those go awhile last night. It actually got warm. The thermostat went up. So I lucked out on that score. At any rate, I'll give it another shot when I get home. If nothing else I rediscovered bins upon bins of stuff down there that'd I'd stashed away and half-forgotten about, so I have the fun of rediscovering that stuff tonight.
