You are most welcome, and thank you for reading!

I just love that wine poem--boy, is that right on target and yet so enjoyable and funny. I actually laughed at the ridiculous "seagull-at-the-edge-of-the-postcard" bit.

Well, I am glad to hear that eric--thank you for your kind comment. I had to laugh at "reminds me of me."

No--I haven't heard of paul allen, but will definitely check him out this evening. Thank you for the lead, eric.

Following up on eric's good tip, I Googled around a few times to read a poem by Paul Allen and, surprisingly, couldn't find one on the Web. But, eric, I promise you, next time I'm in Borders I will check out American Crawl--it certainly has great reviews, not to mention it won the Vassar prize for poetry. Sounds like a winner. I'm grateful to you for bringing it to my attention; thank you. One review said that "no one is writing like Paul Allen today...his poems are flab-free."
