There was also much talk about last night's art opening over on Park Street. I'm guessing it was the one over on Park Street. Lots of people showed up, it was said. Cars are being painted out back, so no smoking out there. The opening sounded like a big success.

I was concentrating on the paper, really. But these tidbits just floated into range.

Hmmm. makes me wish I didnt have to work on Sundays. I used to love to go out for coffee and a good read of the NYT on Sunday mornings.

It was very relaxing and fun. They're open at 10 on Sundays, not 9 as I mistakenly said before. I love that it's a one-stop spot--the paper's already there; you don't need to go digging it up somewhere.

Yep, I think this might become a habit, on the weekends I don't work, that is.

Sunday mornings at the Mug are often the highlight of my weekend. We drop off the kids at St. John's and walk across the street. Julie and I were there between 10:30 and 11:30. I wonder if I saw you? Too many smokers invaded the back area, so we moved to the front windows. A group of regulars always has the large round table on Sundays. I think they take turns arriving when the Mug opens so they can reserve the table.

It was the highlight of mine. I must have seen you inadvertently at some point, though I was pretty wrapped up in an endless story of the privatization of prison health care. The smokers do seem to huddle in the back there.

The regulars were enjoying their big table, for sure. It was very nice.
