She is still on Nevis and will be there for the next two years attending medical school. I will be visiting her in between semesters (or she may come here to Michigan for some of the breaks). Nevis is a very nice place, although some things take getting used to. All the businesses are of the smaller "mom and pop" type...no major chains like Burger King or Meijer's. This is nice in some ways, but the hours of operation are often limited so there is not the convenience that we are used to in the USA. They accept both US money and Eastern Caribbean money which is the official currency of Nevis. Therefore you have to be careful when a price is quoted to you to know if it is US or EC money. All in all it was an enjoyable time and I am looking forward to going there again. So now I am back at work, catching up with everything.
