In between New Yearses I forget what a delightful and delicious thing champagne is, with its slightly tart, dry flavor and all those bubbles. Lovely stuff.

I took a bottle of the non-alcoholic sparkling cider stuff to work that night for New Year's and it sucked. Happy New Year, to you too!

Dear sis: I had to laugh. M. was big on that sparkling cider stuff, too--you know, the whole vegetarian crusade, although, I'm not sure why champagne would be non-veg. Go figger.

Scott: I hope your move was a good one and that your new home suits you.

Isn't champagne by definition vegetarian? And what does that have to do w/ anything anyways unless you're a Hindu or Mormon veggie? i must say, Dave and I bought a bottle of more expensive champagne (not the $2.99 special at Meijer's) and it was good, GOOD!

I don't know why...I think that was due to cheapness, not veg'ism. Oh, yes, it's lovely stuff.
