Laura - 2004-12-17 20:26:05 I like Bombadill's, too, but the coziness of the many nooks at the Ugly Mug won me over. In comparison, Bombadill's is kind of a big empty space. Very nicely decorated and rag-painted, with very nice people working there, mind you--it's just my personal preference for (romantic) nooks that won me over to the U.M. YMMV.* * * * * * * * * * * * Confession - 2004-12-17 22:46:12 I guess it was the nearly life-sized plastic Jesus, plucked from some outdoor nativity scene, perched on top of a cooler, and lit from within, benevolently smiling down upon a poker game going on, that sealed the deal. At any rate, I plan to make the U.M. my post-work pre-bike-ride-home R&R hangout. OK, I'm done raving about the U.M.* * * * * * * * * * * * Dave D. - 2004-12-18 08:50:28 They have wireless too! :) I usually stop in first thing in the morning for coffee/bagel, and chat with the morning guy. I live in the neighborhood, and it's nice to have so many bus stops nearby. * * * * * * * * * * * * Laura - 2004-12-18 16:26:48 That is a good Wifi tip Dave D.; thank you.
