I recall frequent complaints from them about how the CMU trustees (equivalent of EMU's regents) were just a bunch of greedy big business hacks with political connections who really didn't give a toss about education. In fact I think I have a tape somewhere made by one of said profs (who is no longer at CMU) who is also a guitarist/folksinger.
