A friend who is all queer about the B-24, the bomber plant, and all the militaria visited a week or so ago. We went over to look at the ruins. Of course we went right up to the fence around the rubble, avoiding several police cars and fire vehicles. However, we were forthwith accosted by a woman who turned out to be the curator of the museum. We bulled sufficiently not to be thrown off the property immediately. She said that the char was still under investigation. Only officials of government and insurance were permitted to enter "ground zero." The curator herself was barred from poking around. We nearly got her to cry as we reminisced about the place and the loss.

There's always evidence, of some kind, at every crime/arson scene, is there not? So I've been led to believe from my reading of true crime. At any rate, they are in the process of collecting new artifacts from donations coming in.
