These warriors will make interesting citizens to have to get along with on a day-to-day basis if and when they return to civilian life.

They are strident, if that is what you mean (I guess I don't entirely grasp what you do mean...may I have a bit more of your thoughts, please, Raymond?--thank you).

Follow orders no matter what. Take no prisoners. Might makes right. Turn off the camera so the world can't watch.

I see what you mean. Thanks Raymond. Well, I have to say I got a different impression from these guys from their posts. They certainly seem to be questioning authority.

Seems like if there was much questioning going on we'd hear about it more, even through the corporate news cheerleaders. There's always been an FTA subculture. We rarely hear much about it, it is such a minority. Mister Kerry was in a minority when he left active duty and spoke out against the Vietnam war. Most vets of then did not speak against it then and don't now.

I appreciate the weblog, though. It's such a horror, and so much is hidden from us. We are really endangered.

Yes, were it not for blogs we'd never hear their voices at all, most likely--blogs are a great democratizer in terms of giving almost anyone a chance to speak publicly. I do have to wonder if they're taking steps to completely hide their identities as far as the website registration name and so forth since, unless I'm mistaken, their words could be taken by some as treason, could they not?
