My front fence + wind resulted in a huge yellow leafdrift. * * * * * * * * * * * * Vince Prygoski - 2004-11-02 15:31:43 Some church in Gaines (which my spouse and I do not attend) sends out a newsletter to everyone in the area (I am assuming they must just send it to everyone, since we have never attended services there) which has similar diary excerpts from someone who had a farm in the area way back when. I think these are somewhat more recent than the Geddes diaries, maybe 1920s or so. One thing I definitely recall from one of them was references to listening to the World Series on the radio. No ESPN or Fox Sports Channel back then!
