I left work at UM Flint early today and came to Ann Arbor to hear Chomsky speak. I got there a good half hour before his talk but the room was already totally packed and they were not letting any more people in!
So I did not get to hear the Professor's speech after all. I am now in the Graduate Library on one of the computers. I think there will be a recording of his speech on the University's Faculty Senate webpage (I am one of the Flint campus reps to the Senate...not that it did me any good as far as getting into the Chomsky talk!). * * * * * * * * * * * *

A trip to Ann Arbor is never a wasted one, for me anyway! I can always find more than enough things to do there.
