That is an amazing picture - captures the engine of early Ypsi. It was along the main artery of the industrial North. Wish there was still space for a replica of the trainview gardens, though I bet Depot Town doesn't miss all those tracks?

Thanks for your nice comment Leighton. I've always wondered why there was so much empty space around the two tracks running behind the Farmer's Market--I never dreamed it'd once been crowded with tracks.

I was wondering if the track coming in on the right there was the onetime siding to the mill that used to sit on northside Cross just east of the river. I also note several gauges of track, narrow on the left and wider gauge on the right, unless I'm mistaken. The narrow gauge is older, if I remember right.
