I've always wondered why there was so much empty space around the two tracks running behind the Farmer's Market--I never dreamed it'd once been crowded with tracks. I was wondering if the track coming in on the right there was the onetime siding to the mill that used to sit on northside Cross just east of the river. I also note several gauges of track, narrow on the left and wider gauge on the right, unless I'm mistaken.
