We might have a dress rehearsal for Halloween. We'd damned well better have one sometime. With people to watch, if we can round them up. Ugh. I have less trepidation performing (acting like an idiot) if front of strangers in New York than I do near to home. In NYC I can disappear and get out of town. Here I'm stuck.

Anyway, in these scenes from CRUCIBULUM INFIDELIUM we'll be attired in gray pinstripe tuxedos. Hopefully we'll wear masks or hoods in a short sequence near the end.

Yes...I have, amid the endless flotsam in my home, a collection of Indian clothes salvaged from someone who was discarding them--they were too beautiful to throw away. So I wore the intricately-patterned pants, a long matching tunic top, draped myself in a long matching scarf that also looped over my head, and wore these huge, intricate earrings and a pile of bangles and jewelry. The clothes themselves were quite pretty--I dunno, people seemed to like it. I was too lazy to actually *make* a costume. Was the standard black cat previously, with pantyhose-bent-clothes-hanger tail, glued-on black fingernail-cat-claws, &c.
