I think the county rec department may be the place to ask--if not, the city parks folks would probably know who's in charge. It is dangerous, as you say--Huron dips down and to the south just west of this crossing-point, and drivers coming up from Dixboro don't have a clear line of sight to the crossing-point till they're over this hill. I make the crossing at a run. At any rate, thank you for the tips on whom to contact.
