We couldn't do the "...Frog..." thing. Mashed left limb and previous assignations prevented attendance.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. May I ask, was that from the farrier experience? I hope you're not too badly hurt. Bad news.
The puppet show was pure whimsical delight, a real joy. Made even more joyous by the surprise attendance of the enchanting gentleman Y. spent a truly lovely day with yesterday. Was followed by a long walk in Riverside Park and a peer at the former site of the underwear factory on the west side of the Forest St. bridge.
The Smeet Frog show will be reprised, says Naia. It's very fun and beautifully done; highly recommended. The sequel, "Mystery at the Water Tower," will come to the Dreamland the weekend of Sept. 25.

Ypsidixit also learned, during her dreamy post-Dreamland walk, that the west side of Riverside Park, west of the westward path in the shadow of historical homes on the hill, extending from Cross Street all the way up to Pearl Street, was a Native American burial ground. Native American bones and artifacts have been found there. An unknown number of Native Americans are still buried there. Ypsidixit will no longer traipse glibly over this sanctified area. The burial ground must be very old to be so large--we're not talking about 3 or 4 bodies, but a huge swath of real estate.
