These houses make me want to puke. The "disneyland" inspired house reminds me of the French response to Disney being built in France years ago. A Man called the French Disneyland "Multi-colored vomit" which pretty much describes all of these cheaply built crappy shitboxes that are built merely for the owners vanity. Why a couple needs 4 or 5 thousand sq feet is insane and a waste of resources.

I agree completely. 5,000 square feet is not only excessive but obscene when you think about the global picture, and how many resources are hogged by such excess. Unbelievable.

My dogs don't have a porch of their own either. As for space, I sometimes feel like my house is too big for just one person.

At 790 square feet, my house seems to be the perfect size for me and my stuff. I feel like I have lots of room. Wonder what the global average is.

That's just too much. Disney makes copies of rustic spaces, then people make copies of the copies. And I love the quotation marks around "post and beam" -- as if it's merely an expression rather than a type of construction. Priceless.

My house is 1800 square feet -- considered small -- but I feel like I could live very comfortably in it with a partner and small child -- it's too big for just me (I couldn't find anything smaller and didn't want a condo).
