I may be totally clueless about this, but I think "schools of choice" is a different thing from "vouchers." I think "schools of choice" means that parents can send their children to public schools in a different district from where they live. For example, a family living in the Ypsilanti district could send their kids to Ann Arbor public schools, or vice versa. Vouchers, on the other hand (if I understand correctly) would involve parents receiving state government money to send their kids to private schools. It appears that Michigan has schools of choice but not vouchers? Again, I am not an expert on school policies and laws so anyone who knows more than me feel free to correct my impression of the situation!
