Ms Stumbo makes every effort to blur her re-election mailings with her township clerk mailings. It's hard to tell the difference between material paid for by the citizens (for the citizens) and junk bought by and in the interest of (be careful, raymond) other sources of funds.

Ms Stumbo's family has owned the township for decades and she is not about to relinquish her power and position. As Mister Bush is said to have plans to suspend the US Constitution in the event voters don't see things his way, Ms Stumbo, the custodian and guardian of votes in the township, will do her utmost to prevail.

I'm not saying she'd break any law, and she'll almost always smile in public. Perhaps when voters complain about pictures of Jesus, quotes from the Bible, and advertisements for religious activities surrounding the polling booth she grimaces a bit. But she will respond to complaints about obvious infringements.

Her bio page in the Ypsi Twp website notes under "Environmental Activities," "Fought location of toxic incinerator in Augusta Twp." If this is the same incinerator that FAIR was protesting, this is very misleading--Stumbo was a strong proponent of the Ypsi Twp. incinerator, along with Lovejoy and Roe--all three people were on the petition to recall them for their support of the incinerator.

the augusta township toxic proposal was in a neighboring and rival municipality. gotta keep those home fires burning while skimming off the cream next door, ya know. there's big money to be made in waste.

Thanks Raymond--it was a bit confusing. Then she should add, right above "Fought location of toxic incinerator in Augusta Twp." another biographical tidbit along the lines of "Rammed through incinerator in Ypsi Twp."
At any rate, may I say bon voyage!
