I doubt many of those high paid engineers lived near the plant or Ypsi. None of the blue collar jobs were lost. Methinks Ann Arbour might be harder hit than Ypsi in this case.

You're right it seems to me--and I also noted that no blue-collar jobs (several residents on my street) were lost, which is consolation.

That was exactly what I thought too. Although I HATE hearing about job losses in Ypsi. With this news came news of a new giant rec center being built and funded by the Salvation Army in Ypsi so I am not in too bad of a mood :) This is great news in regards to recent funding problems for Rec programs. I do hope those existing sites stay open in the future also. PS This is my first post. I love the site and visit daily!
