Anna - 2004-06-17 09:29:49 From the joyce coverage I was reading on the bbc last night, ulysses is a polarizer all right. Some say stick with it & the book will become a friend for life and you get out of it what you're willing to put into it; others dismiss it as pretentious drivel that's not enjoyable to read.
