I've had that Dylan song in my head a lot lately-- I love the singing on that one.

that's one I haven't heard, but I'm uneducated when it comes to Dylan.

...although I did listen to blood on the tracks all the way through the other day & liked it very much; supposedly that's his best one...?

dylan sort of almost ran for his car way-back-when in the 60s after he performed at huron high and some people in the audience laughed at him. i heard that he said that he never would perform again in ann arbor. but he did return.

here was this weedy little guy rasping and blowing songs that many had not heard or had heard joan baez sing. it seemed kind of like amateur night meets the future. i'll try not to reload and doublepost this time...

I like your description a lot..."amateur night meets the future." I wonder what artist or group that phrase could describe these days.
Oh, the double-post is actually my fault--takes long to post since there's so much on the front page--I need to archive another batch. Sorry about that.

Laura, Blood on the Tracks is definitely one of the best. Other top Dylan albums include The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde for starters.

You anticipated my next question Brandon! Thank you for the tips--I'm sure I can get those cheap (used) somewhere...appreciate it.
