Apparently September is the one month they didn't get around to doing.

Other folks mentioned that too, sorry about that Larry. Guess you get the chance to depart from the science of the Pantone Birthday Color System and just pick your favorite.

Apparently I'm pantone 17-4027 (Riviera). I'd rather be a red though.

Their "Riviera" is a lovely shade of blue I must say...it does somehow evoke the Mediterranean.

Well, mine is Bruschetta. On the go, lots of goals, busy, busy, and... charming. Yep, guess it fits ;)

what an elegant and interesting color name. Isn't bruschetta some kind of gourmet deli item?-drawing a blank here.

It's like a dusty rose color -- I thought Bruchetta was that grilled bread with cheese. Hm. Guess I'm cheesy.

oh, dusty rose. bruchetta sounds similar to panini. thx.

Bruschetta is actually bits of toast with an italian type of salsa (if it helps to think of that way) made of diced tomato, chunks of garlic, and chopped basil. It's quite tasty and wonderful for summer! Ha ha ha. Can you tell I read a lot of cooking magazines? Hey, is it just me, or is AAIO totally offline today?

That sounds delicious and easy to make, plus I grew all those foods last year (except the toast)--you just gave me a reason to grow them again, thanks Alex.

Thank you!--that *does* sound delicious and fresh! They call it an appetizer, but I think it would make a perfect light summer dinner.

Well, I for one was overwhelmed at the scientific data and analysis at this site. Not that Lotus is a bad color, and I kinda like the dewy lushness it evokes, but , I mean, welll......it's fun enough. I actually have a few tops this color.....hmmmmm....maybe there is something to it after all.......somewhere I still have a sweater that color which I couldn't seem to *not* wear in college........

Yay! Hi, Iss! See? I too was overwhelmed. Curious to me that my month-color (marigold) and day-color (ash rose) both referred to plants, since I'm such a rabid gardener and have both marigolds and roses planted on my tiny slice of the American Dream here in Ypsi.

I'm jealous. I want to be poised and knowledgeable. Not some tasty summer toast-treat.

Bless you AAIO! Peridot! An accurate description. Peridot is my birthstone, and one of my favorite colors--well, all greens are.
And Anna--chin up, please!--one can be proud of being a tasty summer toast-treat!
(snicker).

just teasing of course. I think it sounds elegant, not to mention the color is pretty.
