Here in the bastion of ag ed (that's 'agricultural education' for you SE Mich townies) we have our own fair share of science in the form of the Brenke Fish Ladder and other hot spots. And I happen to LOVE science with the best of them. BTW, the only time our river rises and falls (the Red Cedar) is usually with the untimely and unfortunate drowning of stupid college kids and the subsequent dredging thereof. (Seems to be a semi-frequent happening.)
