My brother and sister-in-law have one of those. It runs the Toyota Prius strollers off the sidewalk. My nephew really likes how it sits so high off the ground as well.

It probably wouldn't be fair tot he child, but one can only hope that the jogging parents would be struck and killed by an SUV... Actually, I take that back. I'm not that mean. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, no matter how self-absorbed and idiotic. I do think I'd like to see their toes get run over though.

Mark, you're getting soft. Must be the hormones. But you could put two small (lazy) dogs in that thing.

Or a small monster. That's what I'd like to wheel through Whole Foods. Just dare anyone to say anything about my son.

Speaking of Whole Foods and children, does anyone else find themselves, well, enraged by those gigantic and extremely heavy (I know because one ran into my foot) shopping cart/kiddie car hybrids? By the time I've walked from my parking spot over by Walgreens all the way to Whole Foods, I'm already irritated enough without having to maneuver around those things. What ever happened to just putting your kid in the seat part of the shopping cart? Yeah, I know I should shop somewhere else, but Whole Foods has these low-carb cookies that are unbelievably good and I haven't spotted them anywhere else yet.

In my day, this entire society didn't cater to the wee precious ones...but I'm biased since I neither have nor want kids. I'd be mighty peeved if one of those monstrosities ran over MY foot, I can tell you.

I have kids, and I'd be peeved if one of those damn things ran over my foot. I don't think this entire society caters to "the wee precious ones", I think it caters to the ones who spend the dollars and cents. And I think it has pretty much always been that way.

I think that you are all terribly mean and what business is it of yours if someone wants to buy a really nice stroller so that they and their baby can enjoy jogging? How do you know what kind of person that mother actually is? At least she cares enough to take her baby with her and not leave him alone! Isn't that better than some parents you hear about on the news? And about the truck carts at Whole Foods... would you rather have to go around that cart filled with happy, entertained, contained children, or have to avoid the ones who are running around like wildmen? I have children, and am very happy that things like that are provided so that my kids don't get bored and restless in the store. I don't have the luxury of hiring a babysitter just to go to the grocery store, so my kids have to come with me. And you are absolutely right, if you don't like children or the things that go with them, go somewhere else and let the rest of us have some peace from your whining and selfishness.
