Another extremely nice new one is the Southfield Public Library on Evergreen Road, whose whole story ought to be written up somewhere. It's turned into something of a social center for teenagers, but from what I've seen they use the facility and treat it with respect. Don't know if this heralds a trend in innovative library design, but I hope so!* * * * * * * * * * * * Tuesday - 2004-02-10 10:05:22 The EMU Business School reminds of that one ride they used to have at Cedar Point. It's the first one to the right when you walk in the gate. They've changed it but it used to be some toboggan run. I'm convinced that the white stuff on the top of the building came from the tubes on that ride! My favorite building in Ypsi is the old Peninsular Paper Co. Something about it I just love. And, our new library is amazing!
