My local favorites have always been the mumblesnake and the elusive frogbat. Every once in a while you can hear a mumblesnake, but the frogbat hasn't been reported in many, many years. The Smeet Frog is new to me, though.

Smeet can actually avoid hibernation until well into January, due to its fur!
